Mahindra Thar
Mahindra has launched a new rear-wheel drive (RWD) variant of the Thar in India. The SUV also gets a downsized 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes 118PS, available with both automatic and manual transmission options.
The Thar’s colour palette has also been updated, and the SUV now gets Blazing Bronze and Everest White options in addition to the
previously available Galaxy Grey, Red Rage, Aquamarine, Napoli Black and Rocky Beige paint shades.
Deliveries of the rear-wheel drive Thar are set to commence from January 14. Also, the addition of the 1.5-litre diesel engine in a SUV
that measures under four-metres means the Thar's entry-level pricing goes down from Rs 13.59 lakh to Rs 9.99 lakh.
